If you are the proud owner of a PlayStation 5, you may be wondering what future titles you will be able to put inside your console to brighten up your evenings, now that Gran Turismo 7 and Horizon Forbidden West are out. Between the postponements and the new titles announced during the State of Play, it is not always easy to find your way around. That's why we're putting together this list of ten games you might love, all slated for 2022.
STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN
Spin-off of the famous RPG series headed by Square Enix, Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is an action game taking place, as its title suggests, in the world of the very first Final Fantasy. Designed by Team Ninja, the Japanese team to whom we owe the Ninja Gaiden and the Nioh, the software is demanding and quite difficult. This means that the player will have to master the system of combos, parries, counters and dodges to succeed in his mission. The development studio nevertheless seems to have made death as less frustrating as possible so as not to leave anyone behind.
If there's something strange in your neighborhood, who you gonna call… Ghostwire! If you like the paranormal and Tokyo, the latest game from Tango Gameworks (The Evil Within) should interest you. It will put you in the shoes of Akito, who sees his mind merge with that of KK, a ghost hunter. Together, they will rid the Japanese capital of supernatural monstrosities that have been summoned by Hannya, a master of the occult. Unlike the studio's old productions, Ghostwire Tokyo is not a survival horror. It's actually a first-person action game focused on exploration and combat where exorcism is a central element.
