Officially, the developers' awaited Batman game, Suicide Squad, has been postponed to 2023.
So, Warner Bros. announced. Games have officially announced the postponement of their highly anticipated game , Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League , until next year 2023.
This announcement came after rumors emerged last month that the developer had plans to postpone the game until next year. Today, it was officially announced. Sefton Hill , Creative Director and Co-founder of Rocksteady Studios said :
We've made the difficult decision to postpone Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League until Spring 2023. I know the delay is frustrating but this time will help us deliver the best possible gaming experience. I look forward to bringing chaos to Metropolis together. thank you for your patience.
We learned through a previous report published by Bloomberg about the postponement of the game until next year 2023 last month, but today represents the first official confirmation.
The developers at Rocksteady have described the new game from the creators of Batman: Arkham as an action-adventure game set in the open world of Metropolis.
Playable solo or with up to four players in online co-op mode, its original story follows the famous Suicide Squad members Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark, as they go on a mission to save Earth and kill the greatest DC Super Heroes as he... The Justice League.

Suicide Squad alongside Gotham Knights was announced at the DC Fandome 2020 event. Warner Bros. recently announced the Gotham Knights release date coming October 25, 2022.
Gotham Knights was developed by WB Games Montreal studio led by creative director Patrick Redding, who has previously directed major titles such as Splinter Cell Conviction and Blacklist.
