3 min read

Did you get excited after Microsoft announced its system yesterday? So here is the way to download the completely new Windows 11 / Windows 11, which is surprising to many, especially because of the plan to release it quickly and after Microsoft's statements. The new system brings drastic changes to the user interface, a redesign of the Windows Store, the ability to run Android programs and Xbox Series gaming technologies.

In case you want to try it, you have come to the right place. In this report, we will share with you how to install the system in the official way, and we will not talk about how to install the leaked version that was available last week.

How to download Windows 11

Microsoft announced yesterday that the new system will be available at the end of the year, specifically in the holiday season, but to try it out before that, you must sign up for the Windows Insider program, which gives you the opportunity to update the system and experience what Microsoft is working on continuously. To do that, all you have to do is follow these steps:

  • Go to the official program page by clicking here and click on register.
  • Now sign in to the Microsoft account you use on your device.
  • Go to “Settings” on your computer, then “Updates and security” and then “Windows Insider Program.”
  • You will see several channels to choose from, the “Beta” channel is the most stable but to try the system first, choose the “Dev” channel.

The first downloadable version will be available on July 28, 2021.

This is simply how to download and try Windows 11 before launch. It is worth noting that we recommend that you try the initial versions of the system on a virtual machine and not as the main system, as it will contain a lot of problems and you may encounter compatibility issues, especially in video games.

Specifications required to run Windows 11

Your device must have enough power to run the system or else you won't be able to get the chance to try it. Fortunately, Microsoft yesterday revealed the basic specifications required to run it:

  • 64-bit processor at 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with two or more cores.
  • 4 GB of random memory (RAM).
  • 64 GB of free space or more
  • A graphics card that supports DirectX 12.
  • A screen with a resolution of at least 720, with a size of 9 inches or larger.
  • TPM Version 2.0 (Trusted Platform Module)

You can also download the official PC Health Check tool from Microsoft to see if your device is suitable for the new system or not, but many people are currently complaining about it due to some problems such as showing that the device is not compatible even though it is stronger than the required specifications. For example, my device appears to be incompatible with the new system due to the lack of TPM 2.0 but this problem can be fixed in the BIOS settings. The system will be available for free for Windows 10 users

Windows 11 / Windows 11 will be released at the end of this year, as we said above, and it will be available as a free update to all Windows 10 users around the world. When it is available, we will share with you its official installation method but it is usually available as an update like other system updates.
